Comment: Hello Ray, Thanks for the info regarding the 'leader holders' and I can't wait to get hold of them and put them 'to work'.

The catalyst for the purchase eventuated last Sunday, (a surf comp at Venus Bay Sth Gippsland), I had a bloody terrible day, I gambled on fishing light however it backfired and I needed heavier equipment to hold bottom, then of course, my leaders were all tangled as I was trying to get out of those seal-up type plastic bags, "there's got to be a better bloody way than this I yelled", my bearded mate just laughed! Then I remembered your ad in one of the many fishing publications I buy so there you have it.

I also do a lot of whiting, snapper and gummy fishing so I will be very interested in how 'this thing' performs, by the way Ray, where are you based and when did you think up this idea?

Comment: Stumbled across your web site, strait a away I noticed that your invention the leader & rig holder was the solution to my problem (I have been storing my pre made leaders in money bags for years, and for years they have still been getting tangled up especially when I really needed one). Not being one to shop on line and the nearest retailer to me which stocked the rig holders was to far away. My only option was to send a personal check with my order for 5 rig holders expecting to receive my order in about 7 to 10 days, well I was surprised the rig holders arrived with in 4 days of me posting my order off, great service and a very useful product, I will be reordering again.

We, (that’s myself and national fishing journalist Shane Murton) used them on a recent trip to Whyalla chasing reds with K&R Charters. We pre-tied all of our rigs the night before and set them up on the Mirafont rig and tackle holder by the book. We had a few sharp hooks pricking fingers while tying under the meager gas light but you get that!

Mind you, this was the first thing we really noticed about “The Gadget” next morning - no aggressive chem-sharp hooks through plastic bags while scrounging through the tackle box on the way out. (Have you ever tried rigging up while traveling through 1-2 metre sharp chop in the dark?!)

Once on the drop, being able to do quick rig changes in the dark was the second thing we noticed. All with frozen fingers. You know the kind – they’re so cold they hurt. You’re out fishing before the sun comes up in the middle of winter with fingers coated with salt spray. Uggghhh – I shudder just remembering. No kinks or tangles in the leaders was the next big plus and with hordes of little snaps smashing into our rigs it was a big help stripping leaders off quickly to re-rig. By the way, they float too but that's another story!

All in all they're bloody handy things to have around.

Being just a chunk of polystyrene and such a simple idea, you would have thought someone would have done it earlier. Nonetheless – I found the rig and tackle holders so handy I went and bought a whole new tackle box to put them in just so I wouldn’t forget them.

Ray has promised me that smaller versions will be available in the future for those that either can’t find or don’t want the big fish. Suits me fine. All the more BIG fish for me. If you decide to buy one, better grab a couple. That was the 4th thing we noticed. I want one for Mulloway rigs, one for Snapper rigs and one for Kingfish rigs. Over here we can get all of those fish in almost the same location.

Comment: I'm a member of the sands angling club and have had the privilege of winning one off your holders,

and being a Westernport angler I have found your product so useful in that when fishing the channels chasing gummies and snapper you do have your fair share of big rays taking your tackle.

I have found that the mirafont rig holder has saved me lots of frustrating time redoing rigs as it is so easy to have the work done at home then just tie the new one on and get that bait back in the water as quick as possible, as we know you must have a line in the water to catch fish.

Keep up the good product as I will keep replacing mine which I have twice already when my son likes to see them float out the back of the boat.
